I have always had a passion for cooking and baking and I love spending hours in the kitchen. While working as an Internal Auditor for a healthcare company I had a horse riding accident that completely changed my life. I was thrown from the horse falling on a wooden fence on my way down. I was airlifted to Ipswich hospital by the East Anglian Air Ambulance where it was discovered I had fractured my spine. I spent 4 months in a body brace during which time I wasn't able to do even the simplest of every day tasks. Since the accident in October 2009 I returned to work, but after struggling with pain and the various appointments I still have to attend I was unable to work any longer. This seemed like a perfect time to make my passion into a business. This has allowed me to work flexible hours and be able to attend my appointments a lot easier! And so Little Treats Bakery was born. I hope you love our products as much as we enjoy baking them.

This is a photo of me when I visited the EAAA base in Norwich to say thank you to the crew who airlifted me. Sadly the paramedic who attended my accident wasn't there that day but I was told that the chocolates would be shared equally!!
I now hold events and volunteer for the charity. I will publish details of events on this website, so please come back and have a look.
They are such an amazing charity and need over £4 million a year to keep it's two air ambulances flying and provide all the advanced medical equipment they carry. This charity is independent of government and National Lottery funding so they really do need our help. I have posted a link to their website below. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and the charity.
